A Special Bible Project from Grace to India!

This print edition of the new WEB version is a labor of love project designed by volunteers at Grace to India. Our desire was to have a premium bible that was affordable to the Indian Church. With many challenges and restrictions that publishers put on their copyrighted versions,  the new and excellent World English Bible (a modern, faithful and accurate adaptation of the American Standard Version) has made this effort possible. The WEB version is equivalent in translation quality to essential literal versions like the NASB, LSB, NKJV and ESV. Note: this is a reader’s Bible, and does not include study notes.

Features Include:

• Genuine leather cover (burgundy) for durability and the compact size means you can easily carry this with you wherever you go.
• 9pt font chosen for readability.
• Yahweh instead of LORD: God’s Proper Name in the Old Testament is translated in this version as “Yahweh”. “God” remains the traditional translation of
  the Hebrew word Elohim, and “Lord” is retained as the translation of the Hebrew Adonai.
• Readability: Fonts and larger text sizes have been selected to keep a balance between compactness and readability.
• Footnotes: This edition includes the World English Bible footnotes. These provide vital information regarding translation decisions, weights and measures
  and helpful explanations of names and terms. Footnotes appear at the bottom of each page column and are marked in the WEB text by a letter of the alphabet
  in superscript.
• Section Headings: Throughout the text of The Readers’ Edition, headings have been added to help the reader quickly identify what the sections are about. These are not original to the bible text or to the World English Bible but were judiciously added by our team after careful study to improve readability and understanding.
• Appendices: To help you read and understand God’s Word, you will find bible reading plans and outlines at the end of this edition. A presentation of The Good News is included.
• Red Letter Edition: Words of Christ have been printed in red.
